The new European EUDR standardwhich will come into effect in December 2024, seeks to minimize the importation of products associated with deforestation. In response, Peruvian organizations in the cocoa value chain have updated the Cocoa, Forests and Diversity Agreement Action Plan to comply with these regulations.
